About the event
Our summer childbirth preparation workshop will be offered in English and Spanish to our participants and pregnant individuals from our community. This will be an opportunity for them to learn about the various stages of labor, different labor positions, recovering postpartum, and more! Childcare and lunch will be provided for this full day event. Attendees should dress comfortably and bring a water bottle. Our CBPW will take place in our offices. Address will be provided upon registration
Meet your Facilitator: Leena Pacak
Leena Pacak of Shakti Midwifery is a homebirth midwife serving families in the Austin area. She has been in practice since 2020. Prior to becoming a midwife Leena was both a special education teacher in Chicago and also a psychotherapist.
