We are a 501c3 non-profit organization founded by a collective of Black and Hispanic mamas determined to improve pregnancy and birth outcomes for communities of color. We provide culturally resonant, quality education and support to expecting families in Austin and throughout Travis County.
Mama Sana Vibrant Woman is able to continue to offer free support to communities thanks to grant funding, generous donations, and crucial volunteers.
Reproductive justice is "the human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy, have children, not have children, and parent the children we have in safe and sustainable communities"

Our Mission & Vision
We are woman of color, a sisterhood, disrupting capitalism, white supremacy, patriarchy and institutional abuse. Our organization is built upon horizontal leadership and focuses on whole-body wellness from a reproductive justice lens. Our goal is to improve pregnancy and birth outcomes for communities of color in Central Texas by providing culturally congruent education and support using the midwifery model of care.
